HNHS holds Science and Math Month Culmination Program

It is time to remember the significance of Science and Math in our daily living. With this, HNHS celebrated the Science and Math Month with the Theme: “MateREALIZE: Synthesizing ideas, extracting knowledge, (and) forging science clubbers as agents of innovation.” Its opening program was held last September 9, 2015 with various activities. The closing program was held last September 29, 2015 with the Mr. and Ms. SciTech as the core activity.

A short program was held at Handumon Barangay PLaza with the school principal Sir Ogie Abanggan. Among the activity during the opening program were; Poster Making Contest, Slogan Contest & Math Quiz.

During the month-long celebration, each section is preparing their Trash to Treasure Project. A decorative made from trashes or "basura". The outputs were exhibited in the venue during the closing program. Aside from that, each section (the 8 sections) is designing a gown or dress to serve as the costume of the candidates during the pageant day.

The highlight of the activity was done during the closing program at Handumon Barangay Plaza. The pageant of the Mr. and Ms. SciTech 2015. Prior to the pageant day, among the activity of the candidates were pictorials and video shoots in their community involvement. The DepEd Wellness Dance Exercise serve as the intermission number performed and competed by each section.
