HNHS Opens the 2016 Nutrition Month Celebration

     The Handumon National High School celebrated the opening of the Nutrition Month last July 1, 2016 at HNHS ground with the theme: “First 1,000 days ni baby pahalagahan para sa malusog na kinabukasan.”

     The celebration was started with the parade in barangay Handumon and followed with a program. It was highlighted with the following activities: Nutri Quiz and Fruits and Vegetables display contest.

The champion of the Nutri Quiz contest was the Grade 10 Wisdom with their contestants namely: Mel Marlon Otarra and Vincent Javier. The 2nd placer were Angel Vie Vicente and Christine Alima from Grade 8 Faith. The 3rd placer were Kaye Torrefiel and Israeli Bonghanoy from Grade 9 Fortitude.

     In the fruit and vegetable contest, each sections send a representatives to arrange their fruits and vegetable in the table without using any utensils for five minutes. After the given time, Grade 11 declared as champion. Next to them were the Grade 10 Divinity as 2nd placer then Grade 8 Charity in the 3rd place. This contest were judge by the three HNHS mentors, namely: Ericson Gurrea, Marissa Pizarras and Greggy Enerio.
